Bravo has officially renewed 'Next Gen NYC' for a third season and is expanding the franchise with a new series, 'Next Gen ATL'. This development comes on the heels of 'Next Gen NYC's' impressive ratings performance, particularly its Season 2 premiere, which became the No. 1 Bravo next-day episode after seven days of viewing on Peacock, drawing 3 million viewers across platforms.
The expansion to Atlanta, a city renowned for its influence in hip-hop, sports, and entertainment, is a strategic move by Bravo to capture a new audience. 'Next Gen ATL' will follow a new generation of personalities making their mark in this culturally rich city. The series will feature individuals with famous ties and those building their reputations independently, all navigating careers, friendships, and family dynamics.
While the cast for 'Next Gen ATL' has not been announced, it is expected to follow the format of its New York counterpart, which included children of Real Housewives stars and other notable figures. The production of 'Next Gen ATL' is managed by Blink49 Studios, with a team of executive producers including Tara Long, Nadine Rajabi, and Mark Ford.
This expansion reflects Bravo's confidence in the 'Next Gen' brand and its potential to resonate with viewers beyond New York. By tapping into Atlanta's vibrant scene, Bravo aims to diversify its content and appeal to a wider audience interested in the intersection of entertainment and cultural dynamics.
